I’m looking for some sites with design ideas or guidelines on designs that meet the ADA guidelines. My wife is wheelchair bound from ms. Our bathrooms are very small, one has just a four foot shower the other has a tub and shower combo and the the doors to both are only 2’0″ so it is tight. The bathrooms are back to back. If i can get a design and cost together by October I might qualify for some help with it. Thank you for any suggestions

I can't help with your question, but on a related note, be sure to take a look at this thread.

There's a pretty good set of guidelines on the NKBA site. Lemme see if I can grab a link...
Try this: http://www.nkba.org/guidelines/bathroom.aspx
This link is more for commercial guidelines, but it might lead somewhere. http://www.access-board.gov/adaag/html/adaag.htm#4.8
These also might help. https://www.finehomebuilding.com/how-to/articles/designing-a-barrier-free-accessible-bathroom.aspx
This is an older book but is excellent. http://www.amazon.com/Building-Lifetime-Design-Construction-Accessible/dp/1561580368/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1246591366&sr=1-1
Your task is such an important one that it would be worthwhile to purchase a few books that both of you can study for what will best meet your needs.
Best wishes.
