strip in some pads .. screw the handrails thru the membrane into the pads...srip in pads for diagoanl braces to support the stanchions too...
b what the hell are you doing with handrails on a flat roof ?
my vision is handrails 3" off the roof with some guy hanging on for dear life as he crawls across.....
*Good one Mike. If you are talking about a deck rail the best way to do the job is have them go through the roof and bolted and nailed to the joists for streanth. As far as roofing goes they have some pre made flashings for these through most flat roofing suppliers. What type of flat roof is it? Do you plan to reroof? Or use the current system?
