Hello all,
Hoping for some advice on hanging drywall on a sloped ceiling where it meets the flat ceiling and/or kneewall.
Where the drywall panels meet in these off-angle corners, is preferable to hold the sheets back slightly from one another so neither is ‘passing thru’ the other? Alternatively, if one sheet is run past the other, does the small triangular void cause any problems with taping? (assuming a Trim-Tex type vinyl inside corner bead is used).
Many thanks.

line up the two paper face edges and your good. if everything (all the intersections of the wall) is good we sometimes rip on the back and leave the face intact and it creates a straight line. trim tex makes an excellent product called magic bead. used it a lot and no cracks in these off angle corners.
Thanks dirtysanchez for the reply... much appreciated.Ewan

I like to cove those corners with this tool after taping as usual.
Thanks basswood... I'd pitched the rounded-corner option but DW kiboshed that idea.
