Has anyone ever tried to miter corners using Hardi lap siding? Corner boards won’t look right on this project, and I would rather not use metal caps.
Thanks

do a search through the old posts, I think I remember seeing a few threads about it. If I remember right they said that you cannot miter the material. I think hardie also says not to miter in their marketing material.
I had to struggle with my better half on this issue; since Hardie says no miters, we settled on a 2x2 corner board. It looks super; everyone is happy.
