Mom with zero experience …So I replaced my old Dishwasher(which powered on perfectly by the way, and was hardwired also) and now I have wired this one and it’s not powering on. Yes I turned the breaker box back on and have checked everything. From my wall is a black wire, white wire, and a hard copper wire.. from the Dishwasher is a green wire, white wire, and black wire.. what am I doing wrong? And yes I did pay for delivery and would have had it installed, but I thought it just plugged in somewhere. I was not aware that it was going to be this type of issue.

Looks like you wired it correctly. Are you positive the black wire coming from wall is the hot? I hope you have a voltage detector, I would test the two wires from wall make sure you got voltage. If you do, I would turn breaker off, re-connected the wire nuts make sure wires are stripped properly and you have the right size wire nuts. Looks like I can see exposed copper on the white neutral wire that's not good, and if that means the wire is lower in the wire nut, then it may not be making a connection. Make sure the wires are seated in the wire nut, once it starts working, tape around the wire nut with UL listed electrical tape.
Looks to me like the white wires are not touching each other.
remove the wire nut, make sure the copper wires are next to each other when you put the wire nut back on. Pull the wires from the wire nut to make sure they do not come right out.
It is pretty easy for the wire to slip while you are screwing the cap on. So always give the wires a tug.
(of course, turn the breaker off first)
You really should have that cable coming in secured with a cable clamp. (which also will cover the sharp edges of the box the wire passes through)
