Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on refinishing a
hardwood floor. I have a tongue and groove oak floor that is about 8
years old looking a little worn. I think I could get by without sanding
if possible. Is there some way to clean it so it can accept more
polyurethane? Can I use a roller to apply it.
Thanks,
John Keller

can't believe yer all forgetting Luvditchburns!!! WOWIf it were me, I'd use a screen on a buffing machine then get busy with the poly.

You may be able to use a buffer with a screen to clean it up if there is no wax on it .Do not use a roller with poly .Use an applicator made for the job, some are lambswool.Rollers make bubbles Don't ask how I know!!! :-)
You can get by with a sanding pole with #100 sand paper.
