Sometimes the waste in remodling really bugs me. We are about to tear up a lot of perfectly fine solid oak flooring in a near rebuild. The narrow strips are nailed like a mother: two top-nails every 12 inches into ply subfloor. I know there is no economical way to save it, but I’m willing to spend the extra if anyone has a good idea of how to remove it and/or re-use it. Just had to ask before the dumpster arrives.
