If I was considering getting into the market of installing unfinished hardwood floors, who has the “cats meow” of the pneumatic nailers and what other tools might I consider purchasing to be proficient?

Vic,
I use Bostich pneumatic staplers and my old ratchet nailer to get another board or two closer to the wall.

I agree the Bostitch Stapler is the one to have. I've used various methods for the first couple of boards and for the last few - old ratchet nailer, pneumatics, hand nailing. For my money there isn't one that stands out like the bostitch stapler.
First I have some questions:
Have you ever installed hardwood flooring?
Do you know anything about hardwood flooring?
