hats off to you!!! Which hat to Buy?
I asked this question a while ago and have lost the info. Sorry about that!
I have had a sun growth? removed from my ear and it was expensive.
I bought a few hats and wear one which isn’t very nice so I am back.
Afew people on the forum recommend a hat that was nice and had some class but I can’t remeber the name.
I’d like something I can wear just about anywhere. something that looks nice on top of my head.
Believe me, I need all the help I can get in looks and class.

I don't know what answers you got before, but I have a Tilley (http://www.tilley.com but I got mine at a local camping store) that I have worn quite a bit over the last 10 years or so and still really like it.
In fact the only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't as nice as most of what Tilley sells now. If the darned thing would wear out or if I stop being so cheap (neither being likely) I would buy a new one.
Edit: Actually, if it wears out they will replace it for free. I momentarily forgot that part of the warrantee.
They are a bit expensive, but I haven't regretted a dime of it.

Thanks Jim! I have something similar to a Tilly now. I like that it has a wide brim and is very durable.
But that is about it. It looks like a travel hat. If you are outdoors and walking it is fine.
But if the wind picks up it is to floppy and wearing into stores and such is kind ok I guess.
I'd like something nicer. You know what i mean?
It doesn't need a huge brim for shade. I wear sunscreen every day now.
I do wear Baseball caps around town. But they are very casual. Like the tilly.

I have one of these -

Rated at SPF 50 and well-ventilated - just wore it in 110 degree temperatures - very cool and worked great.

I like these

I have one of these that I wear when I'm farming:

Lots of ventilation in the top for hot days, and a pretty wide brim.
Duluth trading has a couple with narrower brims if that one's too wide for ya.
That is basically the same as the Henschel I have.
I wear one of these

not much hair left, it keeps down the sunburns.
It's hard to pick a hat! Maybe there is a place in town.
I asked my daughter to find one for me..... ;^)
