i've had one for 10 years and it refuses to die.................
it's ideal for taking off tiles, plaster etc.......
i think that model has just been superceeded by one with more bells and whistles............
so you might get a good deal on that one
I've also had one for about 6yrs. Good machine.
To save you some bucks, if you have a decent air compressor already, like one that puts out about 5 or 6 SCF/M, you might buy one of those cheap ($20) pistol style air hammers. You will be amazed at what a fast job it does with the type of work you're doing. (Use the chisel blade, and get the longest chisel blade you can get for it.) It has a great advantage over the roto-hammer in its ease of use: it's light, you can use it one-handed, and you can use it in much tighter places.
But if your heart is set on buying a new tool (mine always is), then the Bosch is a great tool, and, of course, it will do a great job of drilling for anchors, rebar, etc.
Hey! You could always buy both.
And don't forget the dust mask. I don't envy your project one bit.

Second that!
Mine has taken out countless brick (siding and hearths) almost gingerly and salvaged for rebuilding.
but it will beat heck outta the stuff if you push.
It won't die before your hearing goes.A La Carte Government funding... the real democracy.
Get thee to Horrible Freight and pick up a spare set of chisels. Or at least get yourself a grinder if you've not one already to sharpen yours. Once you've rounded the chisel, I think it's about 2x the work, put a quick edge on it and it'll work like a dream again...Also, HF has a pneumatic lino scraper with a 4" blade on it. I was using it to chip plaster off walls so it was a tiring chore, but it works great. If you're anywhere near DC you're welcome to borrow it. Else they're about $100 usually. Again, you'll need a large compressor, but it worked out okay since I had to stop constantly to give my arms a rest. Also, a N95 respirator/mask and a good faceshield (I recommend this one: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/product/Uvex-Bionic-Face-Shield.html) are recommended. I got tons of debris hitting my face hard enough to be painful, so the faceshield worked great, and was compatible with my respirator.
Don't forget to be sure where all the water shutoffs are!

i've had this one for about 3 yrs. i have taken up about 10 bathroom floors with it. it's a workhorse and so much easier than a hammer and chisel.

I have that, plus a Porter Cable and Makita - all SDS Plus, all just keep on working without a hitch. You might want to check ebay for a used one. Thats where I got all three of mine, at about half the price of a new one.
The trick is to grease the shank with white lithium gear grease so it's doesn't wear out.
