I have a Lithonia Lighting rectangular flood light that has a direct round base for electrical box. Can I wire in some sort of big box solar so it will go off during day (over grarge).

Decks must be able to withstand high winds, so choose fasteners that offer the uplift resistance you need for your area.

Buy a round weatherproof box extension. (Not really round but kind of a modified octagon) It will have threaded KOs. Put it on the wall box, screw a light sensor into one of the KOs. Put the light back on the extension. I've never used a solar sensor, but I've done this with motion sensors.
Yes. There are separate solar panels that are installed specifically for flood lights https://solwiser.com/am-solar-powered-flood-lights/
