We are renovating a kitchen in a cottage. The only changes we plan are new countertops- they are sixty year old linoleum and worn out, and a new range and refrigerator. The cupboards are beautiful old pine, and the floor is vintage linoleum in perfect condition.
The ceiling is also mellow old pine.
Heartland makes a range that would look perfect in the kitchen, like it has always been there, but yikes! the cost is an eye opener. does anyone have any experience with them? Are they worth the cost? Are they reliable, or is the beauty only skin deep? We would appreciate any advice….

We've had one for several years....it's the electric 5 burner model.
The Heartland stoves are very well made and we've had only minor problems (failed burner switches) but their service is also good, as you would expect for the price.
For a "replica" range, they are definitely the best on the market. I would assume the wood burning and gas models are also a quality product.
Beware....they weigh over 500 lbs and are a handful to move.
