Does anyone have experience using an air source heat pump to run an infloor radiant heating system? I live in the Pacific Northwet (Whidbey Island, Washington), so the winter temperatures are pretty mild, but it does get down into the teens or 20s on occasion. I’m building my own house, going with radiant floors, and up to now was figuring on using a heating oil fired boiler run on biodiesel. Someone recently suggested using a heat pump as an option, but the only air source heat pumps I’ve seen run forced air systems. Any comments, ideas, suggestions?

Most of the heat pumps I deal with are on forced air units.
I mainly do highrise condo's so radiant is not that popular in our mild NW climate.
We need to exchange so much air per hour, heat pump with partial fresh air intake serves our needs.
I have seen heat pumps used for radiant floor, but this is not my forte.
If you go to http://www.heatinghelp.com you will find more info than you will ever want on the subject.

When the Soviet Union walked out of arms control negotiations, and refused even to discuss the issues, the San Francisco Democrats didn’t blame Soviet intransigence. They blamed the United States. But then, they always blame America first. When Marxist dictators shoot their way to power in Central America, the San Francisco Democrats don’t blame the guerrillas and their Soviet allies, they blame United States policies of 100 years ago.
