Anyone come across (very) heavy gauge floor register grilles? I have a customer whose entire family apparently is stomping on the floor registers in their home and caving in the grilles…
TIA

I know the local HVAC supply house around here has some very strong floor vents. I used to work there but I cant remember the brand. I do know I could hop on top of one of these grilles and not bend it (i'm coming in just over 2 bills).
Check your local supply house, if you have no luck search Calverley Supply on line. They're known around here for having hard to find grilles.
Paul,
Another option is to get cast (iron, aluminum, or brass) registers from Reggio Register. They are very nice, very strong, and expensive.
Bill
Thanks guys!
