Help!, I want to install copper gutters on my recently built Office/workshop. It has aluminum fascia trim, and aluminum trimmed skylights. I have heard stories of galvanic action disolving aluminum in less than a year. Is this true? Does anyone know of any actual installations where these materials were mixed? I hate the look of standard aluminum gutters and would prefer the 1/2 round copper.
And what about those (big ol’) copper skylight wells over an aluminum trim coil roof (!!!?!)in this months FHB? (copper studio)
