Experienced carpenter needs help!!!
I am remodeling a hundred year old house that has crafstman style trim, and lots of it. It is all american Red Gumwood. I have created more wallspace and need more material. I have a gumwood door that I can cut down to size, a true shame (I have pictures, beautiful door) but even then I will need more material.
My efforts here Salt Lake have led me to Louisiana and New England, with still no luck.
Does anybody know if Red Gumwood is available?

Have you checked McBeath Hardwood in Salt Lake? They list Red Gum on there website.
