I am replacing a busted water heater and I need to put in a shut off valve. I have limited experience sweating copper. I think that the joints all went well except for the copper/brass joint on the shut off. I need some advice on how this is supposed to go. Do I need special flux, more heat? The solder never seemed to draw into these joints and they do leak one actually broke apart quite easily. Thanks in advance.
