I’ve read literally hundreds of related posts in the archives — and I’m still confused.
New construction in SW Missouri: brick veneer over polyiso sheathing; OSB at corners, which will be covered with 15# “felt/tar paper” (no Tyvek-type wrap used); standard batt insulation and drywall; 2×4 framing. Interior will be reasonably well-sealed (at sole plate, all penetrations etc).
My question: Is it a good idea to tape polyiso and OSB joints, or would doing so eventually trap moisture in the wall cavity, and do more harm than good?
I’d very much appreciate any input.

Danny, there is a topic still on the board titled "poly vapor barrier". Near the end of the discussion you will find a link to Building Science Corp- houses that work.
Follow the link. It is an excellent site. Your location is of prime importance in selecting what is best for your home.
