Help with odd Kwikset handle set, plz.

I have a handleset from what was appearantly a short lived series from the early 90’s. I’m told that the spacing of the latch and deadbolt cylinders @ 3.5 inches is what is unusual, and makes it hard to find parts.
Anyone know what this series is called? With that info, I could search ebay and/or the internets more efficiently.
Thanks –

Thanks msa1, that's great advice! Are there any real locksmiths here? Or anyone who can help with the question?
Where are you located? I have a few good ones near me in the metro detroit area.

I'm in Portland Oregon. I used a stand-alone dead bolt to replace the one that went gunny sack, but it doesn't trim out quite right. It sits a little proud of the plate, and the shaft (blade) had to be tweaked a little and doesn't get gripped well enough to turn the bolt well enough. I didn't want to seperate the grip and dead bolt, cause I don't want to refinish the door.
What is it you want to do? Is it not working? Or do You just need the name for future reference? If it ain't broke don't fit it!
I was just trying to find the name of my lock set yesterday, and I installed it a year ago.
If it needs to be replaced just replace with one that is two parts dead bolt up top, handle on bottom, no plate attaching the two. Not much goes wrong on a lock set usually the latch stops working nothing special there.
