I have some finished (almost finished) pic in my 35mm camera I need to develope of the living room with the wide plank Eastern white pine flooring w/ face nails.
wallpaper and paint etc etc.
Soon as I get em developed I'll post them.
Looks incredable with a reddish old typ wallpaper...light blue ceiling....same reddish paint on the lopsided bookcases, Navajo white trim on the , doors and fireplace....and on the wood walls I used an amber shellac.....floor I used a pecan finish with five coats of tung oil.
OK I gotsta go back down to try and finish the wall paper so I can put the room back together this week.
I hateeeeeeeeeeee wallpapering.ugh

andy... i took one of your pics into Irfan and changed the DPI.... it reduces the files size by half it was 72 DPI, this is 36 ....

Sorry bro.....I used Irfanview and did the lowest dpi box they had I thought. Ugh!
When I checked it, it came up fine on my puter from Breaktime........I hate myself for being so puter illiterate among other things.
Don't worry.wasnt anything so great to see anyway.no necked ladies in there.

I'll have a look when internet traffic thins out.
Lots and lots of tcp-ip connection requests from computers in china right now. No big deal, just means that they are doing another en-masse look for weaknesses/insecurities again. Means more internet traffic, mostly. Makes for super slow downloads on dialup.

andy.. when i go into irfan.. i open the pic.. then i click on "image"...
then click on "resize/resample"....
then i change JUST the DPI ... usually with my camera settings it is at 72 DPI.. i change it to 36..
the i click on the next box and tell it maintain the SIZE at 100%.. so i get the same size photo on the screen but it is half the resolution..
here's the part where irfan gets a little crazy.. if you just save it it does funny things.. i doa a save as and rename it .. putting an "a" in front to move it to the top of the folder i want to put it in... then i add "irf" to tell me this is the one i resized..
so a pic called MLM18_sue... gets "saved as" ( airfMLM18_sue )....
another thing irfan likes to do is put the saved image in a folder it likes rather than the folder you want it to go in.. so make sure you hit browze and see if that is really where you want it to go...
