it’s a coupon sale, should be able to pick one up in the store,if not let me know ,i’ll send you mine.
last time at 189 i used a 20 off coupon also,so came in at 150.

i don't think i buy that much from there. but i will say everything i have ever bought has been a good value, sometimes a great value.tile saw is one of them.
the only thing i'm probably not buying from them again is ,they have a little voltmeter that they have on sale all the time for 2.99. i have probably bought 15 of them over the years. have one in all the cars ,etc. but i have had a little trouble with getting acurate readings in the low voltage range while working on hvac. works 90% of the time ,but that don't really cut it.
heres something you could use ,they have a 2" paint brush for .49 and a 4" for .79. now purdy these aren't but they are great brushes to grab and put a little oil primer on or some contact etc. and throw them away. i hate to admit this, but i painted that 2 story stucco house this summer with one of those 4". worked better than the purdy becuase the surface was so rough i could swab paint on.the older i get ,

I was in HF within the past couple of days buying a tool kit for my sonI may go there more often than you do.He needed the tools to take apart a lap top computerHe needed phillips head size 00 and some other odd sized star screwdriver or something and so I bought him a set of tools for about $8They are in a section of the store where the tools are labeled "security tools"They worked great and he changed the hard drive and added ram to a fairly new mac computer.I even bought him a small carrying case for his tools.Getting back to your original post I would love to have the 10 tile sawWe just tiled a floor in a 10 x 10 room in a basement and we're just using one of the guy's old 7" huskyWe go through a ton of the 77 cents per foot "hacienda" from HDI'll have to tell the guys I work with about the tile saw at HFThanks Larry
they know me and my son... by name... @ hf he's six and alot cuter than me... but when i return something they never ask anything other than... you want to leave that here while you go get another one?You can't be disappointed when you expect so little... you can be surprised/pleased when you get more than expected...the problem is going to come when we start Expecting HF tools to outperform the name brands...it's a value issue... like the 49cent brushes i buy whatever size is on sale.. use for oil paints... cost less then the thinner to clean a good brush

I was in HF for the first time the other day to buy a multimaster type tool. It was a coupon sale and I had a 20% off coupon too but they told me I couldn't use both at once (even tho they said I could over the phone). They let you do that at your store?
Cost me an extra 5 bucks. Jeez...
You have to point out that they don't exclude sale items on the coupon.
I have had some coupons from them that did, otherwise you stand your ground!
I am not sure of the price - I got one from HD for $88 that is just a small TS with a diamond blade that runs through a water trough
The saw he was discussing is the one with the saw on 2 rails that cuts any kind or size of tile.
You have probable the 7" husky or rigid. Two very different animals!
By the way, HF sells a 4" model for around 40! works great for the small projects.
I just bought one today. Seems pretty nice for the money. Pretty accurate too. They say that the diag. cut capacity is 12x12" tile but I think you could do 14x14 on the diag.
Will work for me just fine. It is heavy, and doesn't lend itself to portability due to the fact that the saw itself doesn't sit in the plastic pan like the high dollar pearl saw my boss has. This saw has a rollcage type frame that supports the motor and holds the pan. A longer hose from the pump would be nice but at least they provide an outlet that you plug the pump into, that means it is switched with the saw.
I didin't spring an extra 60 bucks for the stand, nor the 35 bucks for the extended warranty, I should have but I am scraping by.
seems like it will be ok for me. I have 4 rooms to do at my house.

your right it is pretty heavy. it's all i want to carry in one pc. it helps alot to slide the motor off and carry it seperatly.
but heres a hint if you think you want to slide the motoer off, grease that shaft it slides on real well, and keep it greased. it's a tight enough fit that a little bit of goo or rust and you can't slide it off.
as far as extended warranty ,they will refund for 30-60 days if you have reciept. a year or 2 down the road if the motor goes bad,let me know i have a whole new motor for one. this is how good harbor frieght warranty is,my first one had a little dent in the motor housing,so i called told em i needed the little housing pc. no problem, but we don't service that,we'll just send you a whole assembly!the older i get ,

Trying to recall a previous thread, I think Junkhound bought a HF sawsall at a garage sale. Karl
i have sold some hf tools, talk about cheap use, they will sell for almost what you paid! never bought any though.it would have to be a high dollar tool to justify buying used.the older i get ,
