I’ve been a lurker on here for many years, making a post or two, but mostly reading and learning. After taking a year and a half break from building after I moved from central MA to Phoenix, I’m back at it and realizing just how much I miss it (although how much I don’t miss working for myself). I’m now working for a friend that has a small remodeling business and am so far very happy with the work and the crew (just three of us). I look forward to getting back into the trades and back into both reading and posting here on breaktime.

In older homes like these, the main remodeling goal is often a more welcoming, more social, and more functional kitchen.
