Hidden post to foundation connectors
I’m looking to tie 10 x 10 posts to a foundation but I don’t want visable plates or bolts through the posts. I’ve seen in Korea a system where a threaded rod is embedded in the foundation and the post fits on top using a hole drilled into the post with a connector that grabs the inside of the post. I’ve attached pictures. Anybody know where I can find a similar system in the U.S.? Thanks

The Simpson CPTZ may suit your needs.

Simpson CPTZ
Thanks for the comment. That will be my fall back solution but I was hoping for something that didn't require bolts or pegs. Looks like this one may not be big enough for 10 X 10s too.
I wonder what the uplift rating is on that Korean connector. I assume that is an issue it Hawaii.
If you do end up with the Simpson connector, you could countersink the bolts and use plugs I guess.
Yeah, I would guess that the thing would never meet code in Hawaii.
