DW knits and does shows. Lately her felted hats and knit beanies are really popular so she needed a way to display many hats in small area. It needed to be somewhat portable, so it’s not a pain to move.
My solution? A “space tree”.
Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.

Not too much hardware, really. Tee nuts and adjustable feet were for another project that went a different direction. Balls are wood, dyed red and lacquered, drilled and glued to the 1/2" EMT conduit. Whole thing is baltic birch ply.
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
Very nice. I did something similar for a customer a while ago. She wanted to paint it herself, but the last time I was at her house, it still looked the same.
