Hi,
There is a good condition Hilti 12″ concrete saw for sale locally for $200. Seems like a great price. Does anyone has long term experience with them? I could spend more and get a Stihl TS400. Seems like it might be a better long term investment.

The pros on the Hilti are price and the little wheels – seems like a nice feature. Cons are potential parts issue – both price and availability. Per the local dealer the saws are made in Italy – from my experience with pressure washers this could be a problem. Also these are two cycle (mixed fuel) engines – no way to check to see it it has been properly fueled in its past.

For Stihl it seems as all pros with the exception of at least twice the price.

Any thoughts?
