Hi guys,
Any Hitachi fans out there?
I noticed that Lowes is starting to increase the amounts of Hitachi tools it offers. I was wondering what some of your alls experiences with Hitachi have been? Good, bad? Maintenence battery availability power, etc.
From looking at specs I dont think some of the tools are as powerful as other brands but they also aren’t as expensive. Any input will be appreciated.
Also does any one know if Hitachi offers the 30 day no risk trial like Dewalt or pc or bosch?

I have three Hitachi tools and have been very happy with them: Compound Miter Saw, Pancake Compressor, and Power Planer. They all are well designed and were a great value for the money. I did buy a Hitachi framing nailer, but was disapointed in its performance. So I traded it in for a Paslode nailer (corded).
The CMS is about 3 years old now and has never given me a problem. I would recommend Hitachi.
Most pro brands make something better than the others. Bosch jig saws. Milwaukee sawsalls, etc. A lot of people seriously prefer the Hitachi dual bevel sliding mitersaw.
The last time I saw reports, the reviewer did not like the table saw because it was too much work to change the height of the blade. I bought the Bosch.
I own the 10" slider and the only thing I would change is adding another material anchor to the other side (2 instead of one) so I can bevel either way and have my material held.
Some of the guys rave about their framing nailers, I don't know.
