I just got one of these 135 amp migs and wonder how anyone can do without one. It was $439 at Harbor Freight. In the first few weeks, I’ve built a flatbed for my Toyota, a set of sawhorses that an archaeologist might find in 5005 and am part way into a tube-frame trailer. Yesterday, I welded big flatwashers to pull points made from 3/8″ brackets cut off an old step bumper and the tool handled thin to thick with aplomb. And it runs on 110v, no gas required.
If, like me, you’ve been putting off buying a welder for years, and need to fab brackets and other such from mild steel, this tool is the tits.

If you buy the gas bottle & reg you'll be amazed at what you've been missing. If you think it's slick now, just wait............Joe H
*the 135 comes with a regulator, youll do yourself a favor is you go ahead and get a bottle.I use 25/75 mix, mainly because flux core is some nasty messy junk. It has a place, and its outside.Keep your tips clean, your wire clean and your lens clean is the best advice on care. Basic mig welders are very handy to have. be carefull youll probably find yourself welding anything.brush over the basic kinds of wire so you know what wire to get for the right application.
