Hole Hawg low gear busted – any experience fix’in?

My hole hawg low gear skips so i figure the gears are too worn down and are bypassing each other. The Milwaukee diagram I downloaded shows a lot of gears in there. Does anyone have any experience with which gear parts are in need of replacement etc before I dare open the thing up?

    Well, it's generally going to be the smaller ones, and anything resembling a worm drive.
