Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming

just looks to be another handyman service.
there's another one in my area ... Handyman Connection.
bet's it a similar deal.
Not a bad deal for guys to fill some down time or help get steady work as they're starting a biz of their own.
years ago I interviewed at the H. C. ... deal at that time was ...
they set the apointments ... U call ... were's my first job this morning?
they give the addy ... U go in and ballpark. A 2 hrs job is "bid" at 1 to 3 hrs ...
U make a materials list ... go buy materials .. hand the reciept over to the customer.
if it took 3 hrs ... U charge them 3 hrs times $50, plus for the materials.
the check is made out to the company.
end of the day or first thing the next morning ... U stop by the office.
U get paid $25/hr.
hand them that check for $150 and they cut ya one for $75 on the spot.
figure between 4 to 6 hrs production in a 8 hrs day ...
but they'll set apts for ya from 6-7 in the morning till 7-8 at nite.
And ... sometimes ya run into full day or two or three jobs.
I interviewed mid week ... was going to officially start with them the following Mon ... day after I interviewed .... a former customer called with a good sized job I could start immediately ... never got the chance to see things from the inside.
Talked to a coupla guys that did ... not a bad deal for the lazy business man/handyman that just wants to stay busy and make a coupla hundred bucks a day.
