Housecleaning: Tool belts FS

PaulBinCT | Posted in Reader Classified on October 7, 2006 06:06am

OK… here’s the deal. I have two nice, never worn tool belts that were gifts at various times up for sale. Make me any reasonable offer cash or cool trade?

1) CLC hugeeeeeeee belt, practically could put my Unisaw in it. Dark blue nylon with some leather bits. Padded suspenders, 2 (!) metal hammer loops, more freaking pockets than I can count.  Absolutely huge (when I showed it to “Firebird” his jaw dropped). Bigger than anything I can find online (maybe some of the bags were accessories?) Sell your truck and wear all your tools… I’m guessing from the CLC I’ve seen it was easily $125-150

2) A nice Craftsman, all black nylon, with bags attached with velcro, also very large but not horrifying. Can’t find anything quite as nice or as large on the Sears site… guessing it was… $75.00???

I’m a pretty big guy but these are some BIG belts so bear that in mind.

Any takers? Shoot me an email…

    Paul,

How about a picture of each.

Sounds like you're going thru a re-orginization too.I just switched trucks and hoping to be smarter about packing the new Silverado up with what I need without going overboard.

Have you looked into the Veto stuff? I started a thread about them yesterday, bought one in the afternoon, and am packing it up now.

Yeah, let's see a photo of that CLC, or maybe link to the photo on their site. I'm in the market. I may also be huge, but that would depend on your definition.

OK... this was a project, but I thinkkkkk I found it on the CLC site:

      http://www.clccustomleathercraft.com/products/detail001.asp?partNo=1614

or at least very similar (it's a much darker blue in real life).

I looked again BTW and stand corrected it's all nylon.

Ok, let's haggle... what's yer absolute lowest price? And how BIGGGGG is that belt?

I like you too much to haggle David... and it's just getting dusty.  I haven't a clue what it sells for new (couldn't find it). Make me a fair offer, pay shipping or any cool tool/gizmo to trade?

.As far as size, unless you are Paul Bunyan you'll consider it big... very big. I'm 6'1", 205 and I feel like a little kid putting on Dad's tool belt.

(if you're unsure about size, let's agree on price and if you don't think it's big enough send it back... )

          Whatever you want to do.

I'll see what those go for. I may not do anything until I get to the JLC show in about a month. I'm gonna be outdoors a lot this winter and need to line up some nylon bags.
