How do I insulate a “Zen” wall?
This is a drawing of the ducts in the walls of a Ranger Station for the passive solar system we are getting ready to remove. A recent energy audit indicates it sheds 20% more heat than it gains.
So, the wall consists of 2-inches of foam on the outside of the sheathing, then the labyrinth shown on the drawing, constructed out of 2X4s, and then the drywall interior.
I would like to insulate the labyrinth without tearing down the drywall if at all possible.
Any advice of links to articles or web pages would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jigs.

This looks complicated!! But I think it could be done. The only thing I could help you with is give you the website of the company I worked with when insulating. They sell all sorts of different kinds of foam insulation and it has worked for me in the past. If you go to univfoam.com you might find your answer, best of luck!
