How do you have a level entry at garage?
I’m trying to figure this out. I’d like to have the entry from my garage to my home on the same level or as close as possible. I can dig out as much of my crawl space as needed, there will be no outside access to the crawlspace.
The floor trusses are 14″ tall. Is there a way to build the house with no steps from the garage to the house?

We have done that multiple times in the last few years and so far have had good success. In our area we call it an inverted brick ledge where the joists rest on the ledge created by a blockout in the 8'' concrete form. Basically, what would normally be a wooden box sill is replaced with concrete.
Hope that helps
One way is to lower the garage floor and create a ramped transition, or you can raise the garage slab to match the house floor level. If you're open to digging out the crawl space, that could help make the transition smoother. It's a bit of extra work, but totally doable.
Here is a picture of one that was done today. The stairs goes into the garage. The wall and subfloor are flush.
