Anyone care to guess how I built Rome single handed in a single day using only my legendary power and brillant mind?

And the Three Stooges were your plumbers?
*Hey, no wonder the plumbin's is messed up, them pipes is full of wires!

You didn't have to go to the planning board or get a building permit.
*Single handedly ? In a day ? Your claim is refuted by an item found in an ancient text: The Contractor's Standard Reference, dated XVI:Chapter I Paragraph I Item I in the Sub-section titled "Standard Responses to Homeowner queries concerning delays" states that the preferred response is ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY !
*Man . . . some of you guys could really use a spell checker, but then again it probably would still let this typo go by. . . it's ROOM. . . "How I built (a) Room in a single day." Cripes what's the big deal? I built my 6 year old an entire castle on Christmas Eve some years ago, out of 1/2 ply. . .turrets, arched windows, crenellated battlements etc., course it was a year later when I finally got around to adding the drawbridge, and it still hasn't been painted to look like stone, but what the Hay, eh?
*Patrick,I can't use the Spell Checker, it keeps asking me for suggestions !Jim

Using ONLY your legendary power and brillant mind?
I have to believe there was duct tape involved.

*You're good...took my 8-year old three days during her Christmas vacation to build Big Ben. Then again, there were 1000 pieces in her puzzle...she worked while it was snowing out...she used no power tools...no scaffolding...no ladders...no duct tape...did most of it in her pajama's...AND she had strep throat.
*Congrats Mongo, you made this issue under the online discussions.

You had all your materials on site and you recognized in the first 10 minutes that the prints were all screwed up so you scrapped them and built from memory.

You've taken search 'n peck typing to a new dimension. . . pause for 15 secs between letters???
*Thanks, J.D., Do you think this thread will make the next issue? Har har.
*I thought my post on frozen hot water was worthy enough, but I think it got lost in the crash.

Here is a clue to my riddle. I was only able to do it with the advice of the legendary Sampson!
*
Ralph Sampson was a good basketball player, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he was "legendary."
*Is this an AOE game? Sheesh! You wouold think after this long, a guy would let us all off the hook and tell us what the hell he is talking about!!Suspensfully,Pete Draganic
