I know what it costs around me, in one of Atlanta suburbs, when I quoted three years ago ($1200), but I was surprised when I watched this week’s TOH and the stated that a pump truck for them (had that gone that route) would have been $800. (Or maybe they said $800-1000)
Just curious if the rates have less to do with regional labor rates and more to do with supply & demand in a growth city.

wow that seem very high. I paid about $550 Cnd in Vancouver Canada area for 3 hours with a boom pump.
edit: by the way, it is booming here and the demand is high - so beats me.

Around $500 for a typical foundation pour. Less if you pay cash.
$250-275 for 3 hours
I don't think you can just go out and rent one.
But toi get it here to the island with an operator for the day is going to run me 800 to 1000

got a quote from a local pumper....new in town...used to have them come in from 80-120 miles away....san antonio
his rate is 130/hr & 2.30/yd w/4hr min....well worth it in my situation.....georgia buggy thru the side yard and across back yard to sidewalks, patio, greenhouse beam pour...not to mention the a/c pad.....200' one way....

$400 a half day. Included travel - the pump was 90 miles away.
3-4 years ago, we had to get a pump truck from 80-90 miles away. Now there's several local units. I haven't priced them recently, but have heard they're considerably cheaper than several years ago.
edit: Everything's high on current TOH's. I also get a kick out of the pricing on the 15 year old ones.

Well, that's the strange part. The quote on their show was 'cheaper' than my reality.
$125/hr w/operator including travel time, setup, cleanup. 100' boom pump, small trailer pump, same price. (Western MD)
I thought I'd get by on $600 w/each floor on my ICF pour, but the bills were each around 1K. The concrete trucks had a way of being hours late between each other...
I just walked out of our poured wall company's office here in Fenton, Michigan. They charge a flat $500 if they have to send out a pumper for their pour.
