   I do that with sandwiches.

   You mean that a sandwich lasts long enough in your company to need a date on it? 

   I'd need a lunchbox with a timed lock on it for a sandwich to make it past the morning coffee break.

   In my lunch packin' days I had to bring 2 sandwiches - one for 11 AM and one for 2:30. Only problem, I was never hungry at lunch time.~ Ted W ~

   I heard there was a freeze-dried pizza that was supposed to be good without refrig for 8 years. That would be handy in my old truck.

   I've done that with all  tools and appliances, but on their manuals, also  the price.

   Yes, I have them all in one drawer in a filing cabinet.                      Anal, huh?

   Not so my accountant  / exgirlfriend  keeps all her reciepts , leaking ten year old garden hose. Yup got the reciept from Sears and its a life time guarantee = new hose. She and her ex built the house and has all the reciepts and I mean all - lighting fixtures / wood /plumbing fixtures/ windows and even the dam door bell ,I seen it with my own eyes.
