Despite numerous requests, I haven’t been able to get my builder to finish grading my property. What is a good way to get their attention and have them do the work? Being nice hasn’t worked, so it may be time to resort to something else.

Money helps.
What is the status of the project and what kind of contract do you have with them.
Do you still owe them money? Is the mortgage company holding escrow money for this to be finished?
If you still owe them money a letter requesting that it been done within a certain period of time and if not you will hire someone else to do it and deduct it from what you owe.
