How to protect timber wall frame when pouring concrete over existing on-ground-slab?

Hi,

We are converting a garage to an ADU and new concrete needs to be poured over the existing slab to provide the 6″ high difference between the top of slab and ground. How to protect wall structure (wood frame) and sheating against the new concrete? Where to place moister barrier?

    I'd probably run some 1X PT over the walls using the top edge as a screen line for the concrete. I'd cover the old slab with plastic and run it up the walls above the new floor level.
