Belt sander.
But you can try a few different paint removers and solvents. Nothing will work if it's an epoxy bar topping, though.

Belt sander? My gosh, that's like using an axe to cut fish fillets. If any sander, it should be rotary. But the type of finish wasn't mentioned. If possible, I'd always start chemical before mechanical.

But some chemical finish removers can remove the finish without taking off layers of "patina." I still don't understand the concept of a belt sander on a table. You just must be a Picasso with it. Trim your shrubs with a chain saw?
