How to transition from concrete bathroom floor to a tiled shower?
Hi-
I’m new to this forum, and looking for advice from somone who has done concrete floors in new construction. We would like to have concrete floors with epoxy finish throughout our future new home. In the shower, however, we would like to have tile flooring, with a curbless entry. What is the best type of transition from the concrete to the tile?
Thanks!

A curb.
Provide a recessed area for shower at time of pouring concrete slab foundation. Later tile contrator can mud in and tile shower floor as required. Talk to your plumber and tile contractor about what you want before you start forming for slab.
Schluter makes any number of transition pieces for just waht you want to do.

Thanks shep and oops for the intelligent responses. I think a combination of the thin Kerdi membrane plus the right reliefs in the poured concrete floor will do the trick.
Thanks!
