I was given 8 pipe scaffolding “frames” but no connecting braces to link them.
These all have a pair of short tubes (roughly 1/2″ dia.) welded to the frames at four locations: 1 pair near the bottom and 1 pair near the top of each end.
What kind of hardware was intended to link these frames together?
The only type I have used had x braces that linked the sections, but it doesn’t look like these ever had anything like that.

pics....yeah I've got to get that figured out too.
Two types that have a non threaded "pin" sticking out the side also have a slide 'lock' to contain the cross bar (U-shaped metal bracket that slides up to allow the cross bar end to fit around the pin, then drop down to hold in place.
or
a flat pivoting pc of metal in the pin that you straighten out to get the cross bar on, then flip sideways to hold the bar in place.

nope, doesn't sound like either of those, thanks though
The tubes are vertical -- welded parallel to the vertical pipes of the scaffold? Then presumably they're to allow a pin to drop in. I would guess that the cross pieces are pipes with pieces of rod in an ell shape welded to each end.
yes they are vertical, but are in pairs at each location
In pairs facing the same direction? Or one on one side and one on the other?

I've seen a few frames like that -- they had pins on the X-braces that slid into the tubes.
