Hi,
Whenever I use foam insulation I never use the whole can. I also always end up buying a new can because the nozzle on the previous one, that probably is still 1/2 full or more is now clogged and won’t spray. I mean the can nozzle, not the plastic tip attachment. I now have three cans o unsable foam. I hate to buy another one, not only because of cost but I’m creating more trash. Anyone know of a way to unclog the nozzle? I tried soaking t in acetone but that didn’t help.

Mainly you read the instructions on the can.
But one trick I've seen is to get a pipe cleaner, wet it, and stick in into the nozzle. Do this IMMEDIATELY after you are done using the can. Leave the pipe cleaner there overnight, then pull it out.
Aside from using a reusable foam gun here's what we do. Assuming we are going to go through 2 or 3 cans in one job we take the nozzle off can 1 and use it on can 2 then can 3. That way we have two new nozzles to use if we need to. If that won't work take your razor knife and cut off half the dried nozzle which is usually enough to make it usable again.
Clean everything with denatured alchohol, including the fitting on the can.
Good luck.
George,
Buy a foam gun. I love shooting stopped up foam cans.
