We are installing a new shower in a bathroom that previously had a clawfoot tub with a shower. There is an HVAC vent that was over the old tub and will be in the new shower if left where it is. Does this register need to moved ?

Swap out the HVAC vent for a Fantech exhaust fan. Switch it to the bathroom lights. I don't know what the sone rating is but the fan is quieter than my new refrigerator.
do you want air (warm or cool) blowing on you while you are soaking wet?
