I have a Campbell Hausfeld HVLP outfit. It works good except it is hard to spray ceilings with it. Can anyone suggest a way to modify this gun so I can spray ceilings?

Hello Ron,
The HVLP was not designed to paint that large of an area all at once, but it can be done.
Turn the pick up tube around so that it faces the back side of the canister. You may have to loosen the retaining nut on the tube in order to do this. Then just tighten the nut back up.
This will allow the pick up tube to be able to pick up paint while the can is held overhead.
Good luck.
James
*Most painters use airless systems, but with HVLP, if you want to stay with that, see if it can be converted to a pressure pot system. The paint stays in the pot on the floor, and is fed under pressure to the gun in your hand.
