Lately I have been contemplating the purchase of a HVLP sprayer. Does anybody have any recommendations as to what to look for? The unit will primarily remain in the shop. Little to no site finishing.

Biggest issue is what you will be spraying. The thicker the finish, the more stages you need. This assumes you're talking about a turbine system. If you already have a big compressor you can get a conversion system but either way you need to make sure the system you buy will handle your finish. I have a large Graco turbine system and I love it...

I've got a 3-stage Fuji but I wish I had the 4-stage. When I watch my painter use his airless piston pump sprayer I'm even more jealous (until I watch him clean up.)
