Anybody have a or have experience with hydraulic chainsaws? I hate listening to 2 stroke whine, including my own chainsaw. I have a tractor whose hydraulics I could tap into with a couple of quick disconnect couplers. Any info?
Thanks, Jim

*I looked into hydraulic saws because I build docks and some cuts are quite deep in the water...I ended up buying an air powered saw(chainsaw #6)...It is very low power and needs lots of air volume...So then I now have to huge air compressers..The hydraulic saws are very expensive...get ear plugs and use the headsets too... I use a headset that has fm music for all my cutting tools...near the air stream,ajBy the by...my Sachs Dolmar will cut with the muffler buried in the lake and with a 36" bar...way down in the lake....So the air saw sees very little use...but is real handy.
