…..I think?
I have been unable to find a job anywhere and folks I know have called about a big addition so I gave them a price and they accepted it! So I guess I am back in business at least until the end of the year when this job will finish.
I still REALLY need a more stable and lucrative income but I guess its better than having to go get a job at a big box or some other $12 an hour job.
Go figure…I guess sometimes we just have to go the way the wind blows.

That's funny. Reminds me of one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors...

The best thing to do then is to ramp up the production schedule and get it finished by September. That will give you three months to find something else to do.

Aren't you in FL? Do you see any sign of work picking up there?
I'm in Pensacola, but have been out of town working for about 6 months. Some people I know say work is picking back up. But haven't seen it myself.
Yeah, I am pretty happy to have at least one small job going being I couldn't find anything else as a full time job. Not sure if I will stay in this for the long haul but for now if it keeps me in some income, why not?

You already have it. The work is there ( i know, I don't know about the florida market ) those that are good, fair and aggresive will prosper even in tough times. Work hard & work smart. I just got the remodelers show info for september in Baltimore. If you can, go & learn everything you can in the seminars and from the vendors. Read. Keep asking questiosn. Look for trends & don't be afraid to be first. And most importantly, don't be afraid to fail.
