I just finished a massive landscaping project and have a 22′ x 26′ paver patio which needs a pergala to cover it. It should be 10′ high and probably 6-8″ from the house. It will rise above the roof line of the house. I intend to use either cedar or cyprus for material. The patio has 20″ x 20″ x 32″ stone columns spaced at intervals around the edge, so the pergala must either set inside or outside these columns?? I NEED PLANS. I will appreciate any ideas and or leads that you might offer. Considering the season… I am in a bit of a rush.

Seems like the posts should rest on the columns. Of course, the columns would need to be designed for this.
