I was looking for the cobra interchangable head hammer and the email I found for them is no longer working. Has anyone ever used it? Have and email for it? I have a titanium death stick right now and I love it. My wrist doesnt seem to get as sore anymore. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Chris

Chris-Haven't heard of the Cobra. Vaughan makes a sweet titanium head with replacement striker called the TI-TECH. Stiletto also makes one called the TI-BONE but that one is gonna get hung up on your belt loop because of the handle.

*Here is a picture of the TI-TECH. They are using an allen head screw to secure the head on the new ones.
*Bob: My old Vaughan 999 is starting to look disreputable and you've got me thinking about getting one of these Ti-techs before I have to go out in public again this spring. Where can I get one? I looked all over the net. The state I live in is one of the last for everything, especially new tools and techniques.
*Lonecat- go to (www.vaughanmfg.com) or call 1-818-648-2446 to find a dealer close to you.Bob
*Bob: I called that number and it sounded kinda like a phone sex operation that was busy and wanted me to leave a message.
*lonecatI live about three blocks from V&B main plant. I could look into getting some hammers for you. I worked there for a few years before I decided I would rather hit my thumb with them rather than make them.
*Richard: I emailed them today to see if they can tell me where to go. I've always used Vaughan hammers, but they seem to be getting a little sparser in tool stores. Every big hdwe store seems to carry about one model, I had my local Ace store look in their books and they didn't show that new Ti-Tech. Be 5 years fore they get to Arkansas.
*They sell seconds over the counter to employees. I will ask some of the guys that work their if they are making the Ti-Tech here or up north at their Hebron plant. I do know that they watch the titanium heads a little closer than the others. They used to or still have a handle factory in Walnut Ridge that I believe is in Arkansas.
*Guy called me a while ago from the Green Forest, Arkansas True Value Hardware to tell me he picked me up one of these hammers at the hardware show in Dallas a couple weeks ago. He said he woulda called sooner, but he's been sick. Thats pretty good service.
*I got my new Vaughan today, when I got home I grabbed a couple spikes and went out to find some 2X. Then I had to go back in and get some more nails, I was enjoying myself. Only $105 to like swinging a hammer again, (for a little while anyway.) Plus tax......I've bought cars for less than that.
*Glad to hear that you received your hammer and are happy with it. Remember to wear those safety glasses or else you'll shot your eye out Ralphy (Christmas Story). I tried to e mail you with some numbers but the e mail came back. I'll have a beer with some of the V&B guys for you.
*Yeah, tell em they did a good job on mine. I changed ISPs and it took a while to change email.
*I'll pass on the message.
