Guys I had my narative all made up and my pictures all sized and ready to go. Then to my horror I have not been able to attach them to the posting. I tried copy and paste, I have tried sending to, I have tried everything that I know of and still cann’t get those pictures to attach. Also found out the spal cak doesn’t work eather. I have a feeling that there is a firewall someplace that I don’t know how to get around or down long enough to post these pictures. If there is any of you who knows more then the location of the on/off switch on one of these machines I sure could use the help. I would realy love to show you this house and the damage caused by neglected built in gutters.

Greetings DaneB,
http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=24441.1
is an old thread here on Breaktime that includes a lot of data on posting pics and the Irfanview download.
If it doesn't present the info that you need then go ahead post the questions here and we'll all see what we can do.
Cheers.
Thanks for the link. Seeings how my computer will not go to that link when I click on it I wrote it down and will see if it will go to it if i use another window and type it in.
Everthing got all messed up on this machine when i went to DSL. During the time it took the installer to check the connection (only a few seconds) it got hit with so many virurses that it shut down this thing. Was able to get rid of most of it but still have some lingering effects, like a cold that just will not completly go away.

If this link doesn't work when double clicking on it:
24441.1
then go to the top of the left hand column and click on the 'advanced search'.
When the search page opens then type in the number 24441.1 into the 'Or, search for a message by its number :' and it should take you to the thread on posting info.
ya finnally caught on... huh rez...
alrighty...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
got all the way to were i had to click on the download link and nothing happened.
I have the money so tomorrow i am going to buy the program that this thing is using and wipe out the hard drive and start over. (after disconnecting the DSL link) Before i reastablish the DSL link i will have all of the antivirus and anti popups and anti this and that installed too. So much junk has gotten deep down into the programing and has attached itself to things that if I try to delete it it will deleted things that are needed to run things.
We will see what happens
Thanks
Dane
OK,
Good Luck.
be lucky
Dane, the "cure" is often times nearly as bad as the disease. If you're not able to click on links, you probably have a pop-up blocker turned on.
Mom has a super security suite on her PC. Very nearly can't do anything with it without turning half of it off. PITA!!

The reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when opportunity knocks, they are out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers. -- Walter Percy Chrysler
I think that I now have the problem fixed. I upgraded the hard drive from 6gb to 80gb and upgraded the programing from Windows ME to Windows XP Home. The XP has pop-up blocker and antivirus plus i have EZArmor antivirus. It is all moving so fast now that it makes me dizzy. Now to try to get those pictures posted on a new thread.
Many thanks to all of you
Dane
ps: The spell check is working now so that is a great sign.
