Guys,
I need an ICF/ foundation contractor for a relatively small project in Spring Lake, Mich.
The project will involve a 24″ footing topped by a 96″ high ICF wall to be attached to the existing poured concrete basement of the building. Most of the wall will be a curve, so an ICF system such as ARXX which is more agreeable to curves would be preferred. The bottom of this footing will need to be approximately 18″ below the bottom of the current building’s footing.
Within the wall will be two penetrations, one serving a prefab built-in exterior fireplace, the other a rollup door about 6′ wide and high. These penetrations will need lintel support.
The final finish will be veneered with a split decorative concrete block to be installed by others, thereby requiring the ability to include brick ties.
On top of this wall will be a wooden deck structure constructed by others and further topped with a thin concrete waterproof surface serving as a patio.
The total length of the wall will be approximately 50′. One 90 degree corner needs to be included.
The excavation has been completed. This will be a permitted situation.
Email me or post any indications of interest.
Thanks.
